• VU meter are common thing among audio amplifiers and in audio equipment in general. Their main purpose is to have visual display of audio pressure or volume of audio signal. One example is represented here with a single channel visual display with summing left and right audio channels. Two of them can be used as stereo with single channel input to each one of them.
  
  The meter utilizes microprocessor for sampling each channel and converting it into visual display using the LEDs
