• Based on the VUM-2x16 is this single bar 40 dot VU meter. just like the original its based on Microchip PIC16F88 / PIC16F18x7 microcontroller. The board had been layed out using all surface mounted devices to minimize board size.
  Circuit still has stereo input coupled through capacitors however with extended resolution and no extra available pins this it only capable of single bar display. Therefore the code has been  re- written to to only digitize one channel.
  For anyone wishing to have stereo display, 2 boards will be required with left and right signal going to respective boards.
  Same features are implemented into this version as the original 2x16
